Instructional Assistants

Samantha Collins is a lifelong Franklin County resident dedicated to inspiring the next generation of learners. As a proud mother of three, she haws channeled her passion for helping children grow their minds into a lifelong dream of becoming an educator. Samantha is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education to turn that dream into reality. When she isn't studying or focusing on youth development, she loves exploring the outdoors with her family and their two dogs.

Ms. Buchanan was born and raised in Bunn NC. This is her third year teaching at Bunn. Ms. Buchanan is the assistant Pre-k teacher. She has been in childhood education for 7 years now. She is currently in school at ECU, majoring in Birth- Kindergarten. She became a teacher because she loves teaching and inspiring young minds to become creative thinkers.

Ms. Kidder has been in education for over 12+ years, both in the classroom and as an Administrative Assistant/Lead Secretary. She loves spending time outdoors in nature, travelling, and spending time with her family.

Cathy Mercer is an Instructional Assistant and bus driver at Bunn Elementary School. This will be her 8th year at Bunn Elementary. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.

Jasper Moore has been in the EC field for 30 years with 10 years of that in the private sector and 20 years with Franklin Co Schools in the Exceptional Children’s Adapted Curriculum classroom.
He grew up in Raleigh and moved to Franklin County in 1986. He is a widower with 2 children who spent their entire primary and secondary education in the Bunn school district. He is a master potter and enjoys Mountain Biking& Kayaking& hiking. & Backpacking He lives on his family farm with dogs, cats, chickens, a donkey, and a Horse !

Millie is an instructional assistant and a bus driver. Millie has lived in Franklin County for the last 29 years. In her free time she loves spending time with her family.

Mrs. Radzich has been working with children for many years in schools, camps, and churches. She loves helping students learn and seeing them reach their full potential. Mrs. Radzich is originally from Belarus and moved to the United States 9 years ago. She is married and have 2 children, lives in Bunn area. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family,

Nancy Roark is an Instructional Assistant and bus driver at Bunn Elementary School. She loves working with children and watching them learn and grow. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters, and her granddaughter!

Ms. Smith is excited about starting her sixth year at Bunn Elementary School as a Instructional Assistant. This is her seventh year with Franklin County Schools. She has 25years of experience in childhood education. Ms. Smith is currently working towards her Elementary Education degree with a concentration in special education.
