Mrs. Dean moved from Indiana to North Carolina to attend Methodist University. Following graduation, she worked as the Head Tennis Professional at Chapel Hill Country Club where she shared her love of tennis with children of all ages. In her spare time, Mrs. Dean likes to bake bread, relax at the beach, take care of her chickens, and cheer on the Wolfpack. She is looking forward to her second year of teaching Kindergarten at Bunn Elementary.

Mrs. McKeel has taught in Franklin County Schools since 2015. She has experience teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten. She lives here in the Bunn community with her family and is involved with local sports.

Ms. Shearin Graduated from East Carolina with her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She also has her Master's Degree from Barton College in Elementary Education. She has been teaching for 15 years and in the classroom for 29 years. She loves her students and enjoys watching them grow each school year. Kindergarten has a special place in her heart.

Mrs. Ybarra is a proud graduate of East Carolina University and brings 25 years of teaching experience to her classroom. This is her 11th year in Franklin County, following previous teaching roles in Durham and Wake Counties.
Kindergarten is Mrs. Ybarra’s all-time favorite grade, as she believes it's where the magic of learning begins. She loves fostering a love for learning in her young students, encouraging them to explore, ask questions, and discover the world around them with excitement.
Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Ybarra enjoys spending quality time with her family and relaxing at the beach. She is thrilled to be part of the BES community!
