Mrs. Harris is on her 31st year teaching art. 22 of those years have been with Franklin County Schools at Bunn Elementary School. Before coming to Franklin County Schools she was an art teacher at E O Young Elementary School in Vance County.
Mrs. Harris is a product of Franklin County Schools. She graduated from Louisburg High School. She attended Meredith College where she obtained a BA degree in Art Education. She also has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Barton College.
Mrs. Harris has two children. Her daughter is currently an art teacher in Franklin County Schools as well. Her son is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently interning with the UNC football team. She also has a basset hound that she rescued named Roscoe. She loves to garden, play with her dogs, and go to the beach.

This is Mrs. Tharrington's sixth year at Bunn Elementary, but her 16th year as a Media Coordinator. Before coming to BES, Mrs. Tharrington was a Media Coordinator at a middle school in Wayne County. She also taught agriculture in Cumberland and Pitt Counties.
Mrs. Tharrington grew up in Johnston County. She went to N. C. State and became an agricultural teacher before deciding to become a Media Coordinator. Mrs. Tharrington has a Master of Library Science (MLS) from East Carolina University. This is her 19th year in education. Mrs. Tharrington moved to Franklin County in 2008 after marrying her husband, Allen. Mrs. Tharrington has many cats and dogs and loves to visit antique stores.

Mr. McCray is the music teacher at Bunn Elementary School. This is his 29th year of teaching and his 25th year at BES. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Education: Music K-12 from Fairmont State University in his home state of West Virginia.
Before coming to Bunn, he taught in Aberdeen, Maryland and Clarksburg, West Virginia, and worked as a Qualified Mental Retardation Professional, establishing habilitation training programs for adults with developmental delays. In addition to teaching, he has worked as a church choir director, music director and worship leader.
He has two grown children who attended Franklin County Schools, as well as four grandsons who range in age from 3 months to 12 years. When he is not teaching, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, listening to his favorite music, watching YouTube videos, and participating in church activities.

Geoufrey Anderson is a graduate of Bunn High School and East Carolina University. He returned to Franklin County Schools in the Fall of 1998 after teaching 1 year in Vance County. Mr. Anderson has been with Franklin County Schools for the past 25 years and has taught at BES and BHS as well as coached football and baseball at BHS. Mr. Anderson is married and has 2 kids. In his spare time, he has a part-time job and enjoys umpiring baseball or playing golf.
