Ms. Barbara Gilliam has been working at Bunn Elementary School since 1998 and has been the treasurer since 2006. She was born in Florida but has lived many places being raised as a military dependent. She has lived in Franklin County since 1989. She is a mother of two and a grandmother of three. During her time at Bunn Elementary she has been an assistant, bus driver, first responder and now treasurer.

Mrs. Barrigher started working at Bunn Elementary as an IA and is now the Data Manager in the front office. She is always meeting our families with a smile and loves working with the many families she meets daily. Mrs. Barrigher is a mother of four Bunn High School graduates and a grandmother of 9. Her motto has always been "Whatever I can do to make your life easy that is what will be done". The most rewarding thing for Mrs. Barrigher is seeing her former students' children walk through the doors at BES.

Taylor McGlothlin is a Franklin County resident and a former student/graduate of BES, BMS, and BHS. She graduated from Meredith College with a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a Comprehensive Science licensure to teach grades 9-12. After being in the classroom for 5.5 years, Taylor decided to step away from the classroom and pursue a nursing degree. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in nursing from East Carolina's Accelerated Nursing program. Taylor worked as an RN at WakeMed's Level 1 Trauma Center before assuming her role as the school nurse at Bunn Elementary and Bunn Middle. Outside of school hours, she can be found working at the WakeMed Urgent Care offices and teaching dance at Legacy Dance Productions. She is excited to take care of your students and to make sure they are the healthiest version of themselves while attending school!
